Treatment of Macular Edema

A 40 years old diabetic male was having blurry vision in his left eye. On detailed examination, it was found that the patient was having Macular edema ( Collection of fluid in the central part of the retina). Before treatment, the vision in the left eye of the patient was 6/24  (3 lines on a vision chart). After injecting 2  Anti – VEGF injections inside the eye,  patients vision improved to 6/6 (all the lines on a vision chart)
