  5. If you are a frequent smoker then stop smoking for 2-3 weeks before and after the surgery.

  7. The recovery time period is generally one week.
  8. If you feel any kind of pain, place an ice pack for it to reduce the swelling and to protect your eyes.
  9. Avoid lifting heavy objects and similar activities which might raise your blood pressure.
  10. Do not consume alcohol for at least one week after the surgery.
  11. Be careful while taking a bath.
